Goal

To introduce basic angle and distance measurement to build basic shapes. To combine these skills with the creation of an Art project.

Time

Two-45 minute classes

Materials Required: 

Hopscotch (tablet only)

Outline:

  1. Have all students go here: http://www.visnos.com/demos/basic-angles

  2. Place these 9 angles on the board and go through each one together: (answers here)

a) 0         b) 45        c) 90        d) 135        e) 180

f) 225     g )270      h) 315       i) 360

Activity:

  1. Have all students in their own accounts on Hopscotch.

  2. ​Place the videos below on your projector and follow along on Hopscotch, making sure to pause at each important point:
